ARTICLE 1: MY MOCK JOB INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE

My mock job interview experience was both challenging and rewarding, as it allowed me to prepare myself for real-life professional situations. On the day of the interview, I made sure to enter the school early so I would have enough time to calm myself and avoid feeling rushed. I paid close attention to my appearance, ensuring that I looked presentable, neat, and professional, because I knew that first impressions matter greatly in an interview setting.

Before the interview, I practiced how I would respond to possible questions. I focused on answering clearly, confidently, and honestly, while also maintaining proper posture and eye contact. Despite my preparation, I still felt nervous and pressured when I saw some of the interviewers, as they looked intimidating and serious. At that moment, I reminded myself to stay calm and trust the effort I had put into practicing. As the interview went on, my nervousness slowly faded. I became more comfortable expressing my thoughts and answering questions to the best of my ability. I realized that confidence grows once you start believing in yourself and focusing on the conversation instead of your fears. By the end of the interview, I felt proud of how I handled myself, especially under pressure, even my interviewer was impressed.

Overall, this mock job interview taught me the importance of preparation, professionalism, and self-confidence. Managing my nerves and performing well helped me ace the interview and earn a pretty good score. This experience boosted my confidence and motivated me to continue improving my communication and interview skills for future opportunities and this also acknowledged me to pursue my dream job.
